- Masking Tape
- Mild Detergent and Water Solution
- Squeegee or Credit Card
- Pin
Applying the Squid Fish Sticker at home
Step 1: Prepare the Surface Before applying the sticker, ensure the surface of your boat is clean and dry. Use a mild detergent and water solution to remove any dirt. Allow the surface to dry completely.
Step 2: Position the Sticker Secure the sticker in place on the boat using masking tape. This allows for adjustments to ensure proper alignment before permanent application. Step back from the boat the look at the stickers from a distance, take your time with placement.
Step 3: Apply the Sticker Peel off the backing paper from the sticker, starting from one corner. Carefully press the adhesive side onto the boat’s surface, using a squeegee or credit card to smooth it down.
Step 4: Remove the Masking Tape Once the sticker is firmly applied, gently peel away the masking tape from the edges, ensuring not to lift the sticker.
Step 5: Got bubbles? If you have any air bubbles simply prick them with a pin and press the air out with your fingers. The vinyl sticker will then be flat.
