Easy Application Process
Materials Needed:
- Flathead Fish Sticker
- Masking Tape
- Mild Detergent and Water Solution
- Squeegee or Credit Card
- Pin
Applying a vinyl fish sticker at home
Prepare the Surface: Thoroughly clean the area of your boat where you plan to apply the sticker using a mild detergent and water solution. Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding.
Position and Secure: Use masking tape to temporarily secure the Flathead Fish Sticker in place on the boat. This allows for adjustments to achieve perfect alignment. Make sure you step back from the boat to look at the placement from a distance.
Apply with Precision: Peel off the backing paper from one corner of the sticker then press the adhesive side firmly onto the boat’s surface with your credit card or squeegee.
Finish Strong: Once the sticker is in place, remove the masking tape carefully from the edges.
Bubbles: Remove any bubbles by pricking the edge with a pin and pressing out the air. This will leave the vinyl flat.
