Fishy Doodles

2022 Fishy Doodles

We were so blown away by the quality and enthusiasm of Australian kids that we have decided to run Fishy Doodles again in 2022.  (In fact we already received entries before it was even announced!)

It’s simple kids:

1. Draw your fish

2. Take a photo

3. Send it with Name, Age, Location to

kidsclub@marinegraphicsink.com by December 4 2022

We look forward to seeing your entry.

The 2022  Judges

Tom Day artist - judge Fishy Doodles kids drawing competition

Tom Day is the first artist on our Fishy Doodles judging panel. He has had a pencil in his hand as long as he can remember, and he has some of the finest fish lines we’ve seen.
Tom won a national design Competition for Billabong Australia when he was only 15. Since then, he has created work for an AFL guernsey, the walls of the Victorian Parliament and private commissions.

Michelle Emma Fishing

As a teenager, Michelle Brittain hired boats to get out on the water. Now a surfing instructor, Women In Recreational Fishing ambassador and TV presenter, the salt water has become a central part of her life.
She encourages people to get out and have fun no matter what the day brings, fish or no fish.

Wind against tide podcast

Dave and Adrian from the podcast Wind against Tide will judge our comp as a duo! Their podcast on all things fishing
is the a place to stop to get some fishing know-how.
Since childhood, Dave and Adrian have loved being on the water. They have seen more fish than episodes of Bluey, so
we know they will be great judges.

2021 Fishy Doodles Competition

Wrap up!

In 2021, we ran our first kids drawing competition.  We had some fantastic judges in Al McGlashan, Naomi Wisby and Richard Abela.  It was a great success, and we were blown away by the standard of drawing we saw in all age categories.

To see the 2021 entries and winners take a look at the flipbook or browse the children gallery below.
